What I find hard to believe is how this happened in the first place. Doesn’t the US Patent office verify the applications it gets before processing them?
Actually, it’s still going on. If you go to the JMRI web site, they have alink where they have copies of all the documentation thus far as well as events in chronological order. Just as they work through one issue, KAM brings up another one - he most recently added that suppsoedly he owns the right from QSI for all versions of their manuals prior to the current one, so JMRI quoting text in the CV definitions is violating his copywrite.
If Pat Quinn actually sold such rights to KAM, I REALLY have to wonder what in the heck he was thinking, talk about a pretty lame move. Thus I have my doubts as to the validity of KAM’s claim there.
