I saw this in a railroad catalog a ways back, a John Wayne train movie called “Hurricane Express”. I have always wondered if it is any good. I never thought to ask you guys until all the stuff about the Sci-Fi movie came out. Has anyone seen this movie, the John Wayne one, how was it? The catalog wasn’t very good in it’s description of the movie. Something about John Wayne being the son of a murdered engineer and having to fini***he run. I am a big John Wayne fan and a big rail fan, is this the best of both worlds?

Sounds great. Thanks.
I am not sure if this is the same movie or not, but I saw one that was civil war era. It has been a long time ago so the details are a little fuzzy. [:(] But I remember someone throwing a bee hive into a boxcar and the armed guards coming out. I think they cut the boxcar loose and it rolled backward and they had a bunch of ropes tied to trees to stop it. I think they were stealing a gold shipment or money. Than after the war was over people from both sides came together for something. [:(] Like I said, it was a long time ago and the details are a little (actually a lot) fuzzy.
Thats Rio Lobo, also a great John Wayne movie. You can read about it here http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/B00008CMR6/002-4885312-1352056?v=glance
