I have had this engine for awhile but have lost the drive shaft. Does anyone know where I can get one?
This is not an expensive engine but one with sentimental value.

Be aware that the Bowker in common with other old AHM engines went through several design phases and parts are not always interchangable. if all else fails I might have a junker sitting around in some box but I’d need a better description of the part.
For example, the old AHM parts catalog on HO Seeker shows a tender drive

But my two engines (don’t ask!) had or have the motor in the cab – that is an example of what I am talking about.
If you have tender drive and are missing that connection between tender and locomotive, it might be possible to craft one out of styrene rod and some other parts.

Correct me if I’m wrong, but the real J.W. Bowker is a technically a 4-2-4T, is it not? I have a picture of it in the California State Railroad Museum.
Or did the CSRM rename another loco?
Doh! I was looking at a picture of the C.P. Huntington! My very bad.
