Just went to the K-Line Web Site, it is gone. I visited yesterday to look up a price and it was still there. I believe it is now gone forever. Sigh, I may never own one of their F7 Milwaukees, beautiful engine. Did any of you have any experience with the K-Line F3/F7? I would like to know how you liked it.[:(]
K-Line has never really rubbed me that right way. I own some and they run good, but there is just something about them that I don’t like.

I bought the new superdetailed K-LIne B&O F7 ABA a few months ago, and I love it.
The K-Line B&O F’s have a very nice paint job, and very detailed trucks complete with real springs, and see through screens on the body. It also has really nice speed control, it creeps, and is very smooth. All three units smoke. Both A’s are powered. I really like how the tethers are run through the diaphrams, which touch, so the tethers are invisible with no chance of snagging on track joints. It also has directional headlights, and marker lights. The marker lights can be either green or red depending on the direction of the trains.

Thanks Craig, I am doing taxes tomorrow and if my return is big enough…, I will be searching for a Milwaukee! Sweet looking engine you have there. I have three K-Line Milwaukee cars: the die-cast operating log car (excellent performer), the smoking wood sided caboose, and the Hiawatha express box car. All are very well done and perform flawlessly. I will miss K-Line.

I have the PRR ABBA F3 set (the catalog said these would be F7’s but they aren’t, and that’s OK, Pennsy had F3’s too). I felt like I waited forever to get them but I’m glad I did. They look great, they pull like the dickens, and I love the way the tethers are concealed inside the diaphragms. The color-changing class lights are a nice touch and I think K-Line’s F’s are the only ones where the dummy units have smoke as well. I love mine. Too bad K-Line went under.

Thanks, the ABA has 4 motors, and with the ilegal K-Line Cruise Control, it runs very well, and very smooth.

I have a set of k-line E-9’s, A-B-A that I really regret buying. They have given nothing but trouble from the time I took them out of the box. I have seriously thought about just giving up on them and getting a set of Williams E-7’s to replace them with. They are THAT bad. I’ve tried every trick I know and they still run erratically.
