K&S Flex-i-grit Sanding Film - what's going on? Any substitutes?

Recently my LHS ran out of K&S Flex-i-Grit Sanding Film - the Regular 5 sheet assortment (4"x51/2") - according to various on-line stores this is #4001.
Since I like these sanding films and have use them a lot for decades, I was wondering what was going on - those on-line stores I mentioned indicate that this assortment has been discountinued. Crud.

So does anyone know why it’s been discountiued?

More importantly, what are some reasonably priced, decent substitute recommendations? I do use all the sheets for different tasks, although I guess I use the Brown (280) semi-coarse, the Beige/Light Grey (400) semi-fine, and Red (600) fine the most. Wet & Dry sanding capability is important. - of those, Walthers only list K&S as having the 600 in a larger sheet, but at a way too much higher price (230% increase - no, that won’t do).

Testors also markets the 5-sheet pack of sanding films, they’re identical to the K&S, so look for a Testors rack in a hobby store or dealer on line, like Walthers. You could try Micromark too.

Good call, that looks promising. Thanks

Only problem is the color coding is a bit different, but I can get used to that.
