Alright - any of ya’ll down near either of these two?
Putting some feelers out, and looking for “locals” that can help me with housing any where around these two railroads.
Anyone that’s local, contact me via PM and I’ll inform you of the situation.

The MNA is HQ is Carthage Missouri, just east of Joplin, Missouri area. It runs south down to the FT. Smith-Van Buren, Ark area through the Boston Mountain area of NW Arkansas, a very scenic ride.
The KRR operates in SW Arkansas across through SE Oklahoma to Paris,TX. IT interchanges with the KSC RR in Durant OK. The last issue of TRAINS covered that area of the KCS RR’s line. Teraine is Mountainous on a North-South Line. Ozarks in Arkansas and Kiamichi mountains in Oklahoma.
Both railroads offer scenic mountain railroading in much of their areas of operations. Quality of living in both operational areas is, in my opinion very good…
