Although, not really, as there are some Moms here who work on/for the railroads:
HAPPY MOTHER’S DAY!!!
You may not get told very often how much you are appreciated, but please know that you are, and you are loved for all you do for your children (even when your child is as “old” as some of us children are). We wouldn’t be here if it werent for Moms, Mothers, Mamas, Mommys.
Enjoy this special day, where we honor you, and let you know how much we love you.
When I leave the house for one of my part time jobs later this morning, I will look into the heavens and wish my Mom a happy mother’s day, because that is where she has been for the last 7 and a half years.
Hear, hear!! I no longer have a mother to call and say thanks for all she did for me (she passed on due to a rare and nasty cancer several years ago), but I am married to a mother, and one of our daughters will be a mother by Christmas. I have an only sister who is a mother, and I have left her a good wish this morning. To Moms everywhere, may your day be blessed and full. And may all that follow be equally so.
My good old Mom in her last 25 years enjoyed the honor of former Santa Fe sleeping cars renamed for her and my good old Dad, who in his last 4 years enjoyed the honor of serving as a passenger representative on the Amtrak board.
