King Midas decal from Walthers Red Wing or Centennial Mills Flour Mill

I am llooking for anyone who has decals from The Walthers Red Wing or Centennial Mills Flour Mill and is not going to use the King Midas decals. My dad worked for King Midas in the Peavey organization for over 40 years and I want to use some extra decals on buildings in downtown Minneapolis section of my layout and grocery store in Wayzata. I would gladly pay postage for anyone who would be willing to share.

I have one for you. Leave your information.

I’m sure I have some I can send you,

Just PM your address (it may take several tries, sometimes the software is a bit buggy)

Regards, Ed

Thanks so much. I am new to the forum. How do I send you my inbformation without it being viewable by everyone? Sorry for not knowing this.

Thanks so much for your help. I am new to the forum and am not sure how to get my information to you without everyone seeing it. I do not know how to PM the info. Could you tell me how? Again thanks so much for your help.

Let me know if you still need them. I’m not sure where the decal sheet is, but I made mine into the Powder Milk Biscuit Company so I should have the other somewhere.

If you need a spare let me know.I won’r be using it.

Hey rockygoat44!

Welcome to the forums!!! [#welcome]

I don’t have decals to offer (sounds like you will get lots) but I did want to acknowledge your first post.

All the best!

Dave

If you need any Air Slide covered hoppers to help serve your mill, Dan Kohlberg has King Midas decals available in both Peave - King Midas and Russel Miller - King Midas:

The Russel Miller car is particularly attractive

I do not have these but I do want to welcome you to the forum and invite you to jeffries diner where we talk on and off subject within certain restrictions. Brunhilda makes an awsome egg omelete. And we will treat you to a cup of joe. Come join us for some fine fellowship!

Since you are doing Powder Milk Biscuit, are you doing other Lake Wobegon places? Where did you get the plans for Lake Wobegon structures if your are building them? I am originally from just outside Excelsior on Lake Minnetonka so I enjoy seeing Lake Wobegon references.

Click on the name of the person you want to message, next to one of their posts. That will bring up their profile page. Look for a red link labeled “Start Conversation.” Click that and you’ll be taken to a window where you can send them a private message. After that, you can get back to your messages in the box on the right side of the screen with your name and avatar in it. If you have an unread reply, the “Messages” link will be red. Welcome to the Forums, and happy railroading!

No, Powder Milk Biscuits is the only Lake Wobegon locale featured on my layout.

Rocky G. got a message to me just fine and there’s two decals on the way to him today. Glad to help a fellow modeler…

Regards, Ed

I am overwhelmed by the kindness of everyone who replied to my request, especially sdcowboy and gmpullman who sent me copies of the decals. I had no idea what the forum was like. The model railroaders here in Louisville are great to help anyone but I did not realize how wonderful complete strangers could be. I guess I should have expected that of fellow model railroaders.

Thanks again to all and I look forward to “meeting” you again and again.

RockyG: Glad you’re getting the declas you needed. IF you decide you need more, give a shout. I have a pair I’m not using. I decorated my elevators with the Gold Medal decals from the same set(s). I would enjoy seeing some pix of your layout, especially modeling of the Mpls/Wayzata area. Post them in the photo galleries section here when you have a chance. And you’re right about model railroaders. They’ve ALWAYS come through for me!!
