Lakeshore Electric Railroad Museum Closing????

I heard that the Lakeshore Electric Railroad Museum is closing it’s doors before the end of this year. I have two questions to ask about this. First off, Is this the Railroad Museum up in North East, Pennsylvania? Also, If it’s not the Museum up in North East PA, then where is the Lakeshore Electric Railroad Museum located at?

By using Google, you can see that it is, or was, in Ohio.

According to Wikipedia, it has been closed for some time if this is really the one you’re asking about, since the information provided is rather sketchy.

Your right, it’s the Museum near Olmsted Falls. I went there when I was younger. It wasn’t bad, but sometimes the Trolley’s went really slow. But, that’s was a long time ago and now it’s closing. A sad sight of Trolly’s fading away and not existing anymore. But I did hear on Fox 8 News of Cleveland that there taking all of the Trolly’s or Electric Railcars down from this Museum down to another Museum in Medina Ohio. At least they will be kept intact. Long live the Eletric’s.

No, it is not intact, all the cars were sold to other museums, with IRM getting most of the CA&E cars

When Trollyville in Olmstead was forced to close due to a conflict with the mobile home park it was located in, the collection was saved on a temporary basis and moved to a warehouse in the Cleveland Port District just west of Browns Stadium. Financing then became a problem, unable to get funds to rent the space they were forced to sell off the collection. They did a good job in assuring these historic pieces found a home.
