Large scale swimmer

I’m looking for 1 G scale female swimmer/beach dweller either laying down or sitting. Does anyone know where I can get one? I know that Preiser makes them but they seem to be in sets of three or more and given their price; well, I just don’t want to buy three to get one.

I thought for sure Woodland Scenics sold one in G scale. They have several single figures for sale in that scale, but no girls. I keep looking for ya.

There are some figures designed to dress up model car scenes that appear to be about 1:23rd in scale. There are others that are 1:18; does anyone know where to find these? I think they are called something like “Fast Ladies.” But I’d like to see them before I bought them online.

Preiser generally sells unpainted figures for much less than the painted ones, but you might need to buy several in a set??

Thanks for the most. Didn’t do anything model train wise for me but has given me some great ideas for my next tattoo. I really liked the ganster set.

Sorry, I wasn’t clear… first, they are called “Fast Women.”

I’d like to find them in a shop someplace (HobbyTown, for instance) as opposed to buying them online to see just how detailed and how large they are. There are several sites selling them online including Ebay but I wanted to actually look at them first. The online pictures I’ve seen so far aren’t that good and give no idea of approximate size. That’s important since I’m using them for something other than what they were originally intended for.

If you go to the website I referenced above, http://4toycars.com/index.cfm/fa/prodlist/CatID/26/DeptID/45.htm, and then click on the small picture of the figure, it expands into a view that should give you a pretty good idea of the detail. So far as actual size goes, they give an 800 number and maybe if you call there they can give you an idea of size.
