Wisconsin got its share of tornadoes last night. I was in three different counties with three different tornades and three different times and I did not know about two of them. I only knew about the one in my county. There has been no reports of damage to railroad equipment or property. Trains are running smoothly and only one death as occured from the storms. Some livestock is dead but otherwise, our state was very lucky. I guessing around 20 tornadoes hit east central Wisconsin last night between the hours of 9-10pm. For that amount, the numbers are good and surprising the trains are runnning.
I got the impression WI was getting slammed pretty hard while watching TWC. Noah commented on it too. It’s a strange contradiction - tornados are fascinating to watch, but no fun to be in. The front is supposed to cross us tonight, and temps here at 3:30 are in the 80’s. Could prove interesting.
Yeah, there was one about 15 miles south of us. Luckly we didn’t have to worry about it, thank the Lord. I din’t here anyhthing about the tracks in this area, but there has been I think a MOW crew on the WSOR all day, I can’t fully understand them.

The front went through our area in the morning so instability was low and there was just some rain. So far today, temperatures haven’t made it out of the 50s.

Nice thing about this forum- I can go to Georgia, and still get bad weather news from home. I gather all this was to the North of Walworth county. Anyway, last I heard our house and Fritz the dachshound our doing fine.

Tornadoes hit Waupun, Montello, West Bend, and Warrens, WI last nite.[xx(]
We were spared here in FDL, just high winds and torrential rain(up to 2 inches). The Jellystone CG in Warrens was hit hard, with injuries to campers and damage to campers.
A couple trains arrived shops with ditch lights smashed out from hitting tree branches but no serious operating problems . Several of my coworkers live in Waupun and were not able to come to work because of extensive damage to the city.
