Well, I just received the latest unsolicited DVD from MR. Great American Layouts is 2 old Allen Keller videos of Dick Elwell’s Hoosac Valley and Gil Freitag’s Stony Creek & Western layouts. Both are fantastic layouts in their own right. Unfortunately, this DVD seems to lack the quality of the original AK VHS tapes I have of both subjects. It’s dark and many scenes are so dark one can’t see anything but shadows. It’s a pretty big disappointment as far as I can see. AK hasn’t released them on DVD but still lists them as VHS. I think MR needs to go back to the drawing board with this series. I think they really wasted time and money on this thing. Anyone get a good copy? Is mine the only piece of junk? My 2¢, Roger Huber

There have been posts in the past about these DVDs. They are not from or produced by MR. If you didn’t ask for them keep them or trash them and they’ll stop coming.
