A good soldier and long time supporter of Amtrak and transit. Thank you and RIP.
At Arlington he will be in good company, and he most assuredly deserves it as a veteran. Another good man gone on to better things.
I’m glad to read that Senator Frank Lautenberg went out in style. Amtrak provided a train for him and his family for his last train ride to D.C. Then, New Jersey Transit let Amtrak pick up Senator Lautenberg at The Frank R. Lautenberg Secaucus Transfer Station to take him back to D.C. This was a fine way to say, Thank you Senator Lautenberg for helping us for all these years!
So long to a good passenger rail supported as well as a good man. R.I.P. Sir.
He was truly a friend to everybody in the transportation sector.
