Hi all,

just wondering if anyone had any ideas for a layout design for a 6x4 feet.

I have a 4’x6’. Scenic divider slightly closer to the “back” and angled. One end of the divider has a rock cut, the other a large stand of trees to make the train go out of site. The front side has a passing siding and a 2 track yard, could have put in a switch back and added another one or two if I had wanted. Back side only a passing track, could put in a single siding if needed. Both passing sidings can hold a small steam loco and 4 cars.

This arrangement gives my trains a place to go and come back with different cars. With the passing sidings, a different train can appear, either from the same direction or going the other way. I’m in DC with 7 blocks. Actually could run two trains with two operators, if I really wanted to do so on a short night of operations.
