while it seems it will be forever before i start my layout, i’m constantly thinking of stuff i wanna do. i originally wanted to somehow do 3 light circuits, a white for day, yellows & reds for evening and blue light for night. but… we took the kids to the museum saturday and they had a little experiment thing that had red, blue and green bulbs, it casted white light after they mixed and by casting shadows at different angles, the shadow would change colors. i was thinking maybe you could use it to change colors of light, almost like changing RGB values on your computer, you could have any color of light by varying brightnesses of each. (is this how stage lighting works???)

I’ll have to ask my son. He does the stage lighting for a theater in Miami.

close enough, stage ligting has some white in it (though less than the rgb lights - probably one for every 2 sets of rgb lights)

however, my experience is with HS and smaller scale stage lighting, so the stages arent all that big always. It might be different in the larger “real” theatres (like broadway in NYC, etc)
