Layout pics

Hi all

Just trying to attach a few pics of the scenery on the UK half of my layout. [img]http://i110.photobucket.com/albums/n108/mikelhh/Little%20Glenmore%20train%20layout/58de19e5.jpg[img]

First is an overhead view. My Guilford Rail SD-26 by Atlas has found its way there from the other half [yet to be built] It’s a fantastically smooth runner and I love it.

Cheers,

Mike

Your links aren’t working. I think it’s because you’ve got the “http” part in twice in each of the links.

Yes Philip I just tried to fix it but it still isn’t what I wanted

Mike

Mike, the links worked fine for me and I must say I do like the pics. Your flowing plan looks nice. It looks like it would be a blast to operate. When can we come over?

Hi Mike,

Pictures look great, your layout is coming to life. It looks like your using Photobucket, you can post pictures straight from photobucket to the post. Just find a picture you want to post, and find the Img address under that photo, left click on it to highlight it, then right click to copy, then paste it on your post.

The links work OK now. If you want to show the pics straight off you need to put the [ img] tag like you’ve got it in front of the address (only without the space) but the one after the address needs to be [ /img] (only without the space) and then it will show the pic.

Or you can do like Dan says, same thing.

The pics look good BTW!

Great layout. I loved the Issetta. I had one of those once, dragged raced it, still holds the track record for slowest full power run.

Looks great. The only “problem” that I see is that the cars/trucks/bus are on the “wrong” side of the road.[:)]

Really nice pictures. Layout looks great. Thanks for sharing them with us. Hal

Thanks everyone for the kind words.

And thanks to Dan & Philip for showing me how easy it is to post those images! Maybe I’ll get it right next time.

Had to laugh about the drag-racing Isetta.

The layout is actually very simple to operate - too simple, really. I’m sure most would get bored with it pretty quickly. But I’m using that half as sort of an exercise in landscaping and modelling a village. The US side will be quite a bit more complex, rail-wise, althougth I know I can’t fit much into 9ftx3ft, but it will loop thru the UK side to allow for continuous running and once I get the backscene done the trains will disappear briefly which will help, I guess. At least I know where to come for good advice. I’ve already picked up loads of great hints and inspiration from this site.

Regards,

Mike
