Layout Templates

After 25 years I am coming back into the hobby. Thus far I have decided to build my next layout in N scale and have done a great deal of research on all facets of getting started. I expect a number of bumps along the way and appreciate the fact that these forums and you fellow modelers are available to me and other novices.

I was reading over the weekend and came across mention of a template that could be used to draft a layout on paper. The template has a number of curves with various radii, turnouts, etc. It’s sort of a pre-computer layout tool. Problem is I don’t know who makes or sells them. Any ideas as to where I might locate one?

I’m looking for one too…

Here is one. I think I have a different one, but I’ll have to find it to see…

try internet trains.com they offer what you are lookin for good luck

Apparently, you posted your forum while I was working on a post dealing with templates. I use Atlas’ Right Track Software to design my layout. By selecting and printing full sized, you can make your own templates.

Thanks Jeff, that’s it!
