Lenz Silver MP Programming

I currently have two engines installed with a Lenz Silver MP decoder. The first is an Athearn SD60 and the second is an Atlas GP38. the issue that I am having is that the GP38 runs great, it creeps along using my Digitrax Super Empire control system. But the SD60 at takes off like a rabbit as soon as the speed is brought up 1 from zero. I do realize both engines are different but i am trying to figure out how to bring the speed down on the SD60. Thanks!

I would try a reset with the offending decoder. If that doesnt fix it, then the decoder is fubared.

Thanks for the suggestions. I will give them a try once I am home this evening.

Thanks for the information. That is exactly what I did, I used Decoder Pro last night (what a life saver) and checked the differences. I dont know how I continued to miss it earlier but my CV2 was way out of wack. I reset the decoder back to factory settings because who knows what other settings I messed with. the engine is running like a champ now and after tweaking it a little more I am back to a happy camper. Thanks again!
