Lets Talk Garden Railroading

I’ve only been in the hobby about ayear and a half, and would greatly enjoy conversation with other garden railroaders.

Eric
I’ll be glad to, I have your number just need to line up a time.
I may seem to be on the computer alot but its only hit and miss for a few minutes.

Eric,

THE best point to start is here http://www.trains.com/community/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=47538
Next do a few searches on your favourite topics, that get’s you up to speed on what has and hasn’t been covered in depth i.e. battery vs track power, SS track vs brass, nickelsilver and alu track, the merits of 1:32, 1: 29, 1:27, 1:24; 1:22.5, 1:20.3, 1:19, 1:13.3 and whatever else is out there, how to level track properly (including inside tunnels where no one but Mr. Murphy will see it!), why large engines and R1 are not the best combination, why certain couplers perform much better than others.

As mentioned it is a very good start and reading first is very educational. [;)][:)][;)]
