Have my layout planned, track plans, etc. building a small independent railroad serving the solomons island and drum point, hauling bird doodoo and passengers in the 1920s. this area is very rolling don’t want to see any very level treack. how do you do the hills and dales in laying track on benchwork ?

the easiest way is to use foam risers from woodland scenics. The come pre-cut in 1% to 4% grades, just glue your track and roadbed to the risers and you are good to go.
