Lionel #8687 Jersey Central FM have a horn ? It was made in 1986. I have some reports that it does have horn and others that is does not. Looking at getting one but would like it to have horn. Kids will not run if no horn.
Hello bnormao1 ! Yes, the #8687 Jersey Central has a Horn or at least should, unless it was taken out by a previous owner.With all of the sound systems on the market, It should not be hard to find one for it.

Before, I would purchase this Lionel diesel that only has a horn, you may want to checkout a MTH Rail-King diesel with 2.0 protosounds. You mentioned your children would like to have a diesel with a horn. Let them listen to a MTH diesel with a the 2.0 protosound system. Then ask them which diesel do they want. Have a great Friday.
