I have a third train set, a Lionel Battery Operated Popcorn Tin Train Set. During the Christmas holiday season popcorn tins are in abundant supply. Some of these tins include toys, like this Lionel Battery Operated Train Set I have. This one has a steam locomotive a box car and caboose. The track is plastic.
I am not sure whether or not I am going to build a small layout for it but I did set it up to see if it works and it does.
Kind of an interesting little thing. Good for a little shelf display, as no need for electrical hook-up. Only problem to doing more with it, is additional track. Unless they tell you where you can get more or if it matches an existing scale it could be hard to match.
