when using fastrack switches when i connect switch 1 to terminal 2 on the SC-2 what about switches 2 through 4 and so on do i need a second SC-2
A Lionel SC-2 can run a maximum of six switches. Download the instructions from Lionel’s website for the specific instructions. Without a complete review of those instructions, you will find in nearly impossible to wire an SC-2 correctly.
I currently run three SC-2s. Two run accessories and one runs switches. I am a couple of days away from reconfiguring the switches and I will again pull out the instructions to help me through the process.
BTW, an SC-2 has an antenna inside the box. This antenna picks up the TMCC signal if it is aligned correctly to the track. SC-2s are sometimes tempermental, so good luck.
