I have been looking high and low for blueprints of the subject matter that I can use to model “Photo Realistic” models of rail stock and have had no luck, so I was thinking better heads the out there with more brains then just mine, if anyone has found any that won’t cost an arm and a leg I sure could use them.
Thanks[:-^]
if you find any, let me know.
Most scale drawing come from back issues of magazines like Model Railroader or Railroad Model Craftsman. You can use the ‘Index of Magazines’ at the bottom of the web page to search. Most prototype drawings do not have a lot of detail. For example, they may specify a 5’ 6" wheelbase truck, and basically show where the axles should be. This is because multiple vendors may be involved.
To build a ‘Photo Realistic’ model, you will need scale drawings, and lot of detail photos(including those of the construction of the car).
