Can someone tell me how to wire the three posts on the back of the 364 log loader? There labled A, B& C. Power, ground and what? Also what switch does it use? A photo would be a great help. Thanks for any help, Denny
i have one installed. mine is original equipment not the modern re-issue. reading from the instructions
the A and C on the accessory goes to the power —the C going to the powers U post.
The B and C on the accessory go to the switch a 364 C…but any 64 type switch will do. it has 6 connections that work in pairs — not intuitive if you have one…A & B or D & E or E & F or B & C.
The instruction set is generally available on Ebay, from a guy named Postwarman. he sells them starting price of $9.99.
I often thought that the forum should have a library with pictures and instructions that we all could contribute to. Certainly, combined we have more info than the Lionel Help Line.
good luck

What a great idea? Bob/OgaugeOverlord are you listening? The HELP or FAQ thread could be stuck at the top. Some older threads could be incorporated into this HELP section or maybe just a page with links that point to previous how to threads

Yes that’s a very good idea. I had some conversations at the Lionel Collectors Club UK show on this subject.
Due to the diffrence in power frequency (UK 50 Hz -US 60Hz) Newbie’s can have real problems just getting trains to run over here.
A central store for FAQ and HELP information would be a very useful.

Nick
Ralph, when you say “U”, you probably mean the transformer common. But Lionel used “U” to mark the common only on multiple-output transformers. On others, it was the wiper connection.
thanks for the clarification bob. i only have pw zw’s and sometimes forget others exist.
