Looking for a modeler, Anyone recognize this... can you help?

Attached is a picture of a custom car I saw at the Amherst show in Springfield MA, He had several New England roads on display. I’m looking to get some more information on how to contact him, or to get my hands on some of the Mass Coastal energy/trash train units. Any info would be appreciated.

You can contact the show organizers and ask for a vendor / exhibitor list. It usually has a map of the floorplan that you can use to figure out who it was.

Good Luck

Yeah I have that, but it doesnt help me any… -Pat

I usually take with me a small note pad to take quick notes of what I seen and who had the thing up for sale/how much–that kind of stuff

Failing that, asking for a business card would/should work for future reference

But beyond those–the piece looks to be something done by a custom painter/builder hence a " one-of-a-kind" type of business. One way may be to just do a sweep/canvas of all the LHS’s in the vicinity of the trainshow and canvas each one to see whether anyone knows who does them and see whether you can order them through that store or such.

The only other way may be through an E bay hunt----and that can get a little tedious—[xx(]

It is possible that it is part of SeaMass. I have no idea who may be the dealer/ custom builder, but can ask around the club. We are in Hingham, MA.

Also, Paul3, on this forum and a fellow club member, may have the info on this particular car. He is rather knowledgable especially on some of the specialty stock. You could also PM him.

thanks for the info, I certainly know what I should have done, but hindsight is 20/20 right! It is definatley a custom piece not stock, in fact everything he had was custom… I’ll drop that PM, but if you guys could keep your ears and eyes open I would appreciate it!
