I need some help identifying a train part number so I can purchase the correct remote. All I can find on the bottom of the train is 16518EL. Pictures are attached. Thank you in advance for your help. I did contact Lionel and they were no help. I do not have the original box.

That locomotive has Bluetooth and you ought to be able to control it with one of the Lionel apps for smartphone, probably LionChief.

Woke_Hoagland’s right, or else you can use a Lionel Universal remote.
