I have a question for you guys concerning HO re-power kits. What are the best places on line to purchase PPW / A-Line and NWSL motors and parts?
Thanks in advance.

Hello Soo Line,
I notice your post has been up a while. If no one else has the info, consider e-mailing a couple of those discount internet vendors like Discount Hobbies or Model Trains n’ Stuff and see if they regularly stock those repowering products. Some of the vendors also have toll free telephone numbers.
I understand where you’re coming from as those motors can normally cost “a few bucks $$$$”. I’m on a tight budget myself, but my LHS, Happy Hobo Trains is pretty decent so I try to support them. In my case I’m just buying one motor at a time from them (I have 5 Athearn Blue Box locomotives that I want to repower)
Hopefully someone will chime in with a tip, but go ahead and do your research.
The local LHS here are all full MSRP. In the past I have done as you, one at a time. Lately none are stocking, so it is always a special order. I was just wondering if there was a better way. The best prices I have found are at http://www.modelrailcraft.com
Other on line discounters are real close in price to the LHS, after S/H. The savings are not worth it, so I would rather give my money to the LHS.
Thanks for the reply,
Jim
