If it is 0 gauge could possibly be a Bing or Hornby locomotive.

Early Bing locomotive. They made a number of locomotives slightly different giving the modeller choice.

thanks everyone. I also have this one. both are O one is wind up and the other electric. Is there any value to these? This is just some of my late dads collection

The 4.4.0 looks like a Bing locomotive as well. Bing was a German model maker.
As for value? It depends on condition and do they run? Some command a value of £200 - £300. Like anything else value is what someone else is prepared to pay.

If you think there is value, learn as much as you can about the item. Consider an appraisal if you think there is a high value. Chances are though, it may not be that valuable.
