looking for help! Sunset brass / N J Custom brass identify question

Hello; I was wondering if someone could help with identifying a brass loco maker. I have 4-6-2 brass loco that is marked with a brass N J Custom Brass KSM Korea tag on the underside. However I received it in a Sunset box. The box says it’s a New York Central K-5 4-6-2 made in Korea by Samhongsa. My question is, is this engine in the right box? did Sunset import models with the N J custom brass tags. All the Sunset models I have are just marked Samhongsa Korea on the underside. Also this tag is brass & black not brass & blue like the Daiyoung models. Im only a novice at best & Im not sure if it is a K-5.

If any one could help it would be greatly appreciated!!!

NJ Custom Brass and Sunset are two completely different companies. If it has the NJ tag on the bottom, it’s a Daiyung model, not Samhongsa.
Wether or not it’s a NYC K5, I couldn’t tell you without looking at it. And even then… can’t claim I know a lot about NYC steam. Even if I find an NJ ad that says they produced a NYC K5 at some point…

It sounds like somebody switched boxes. W/O a pic of the engine the only help I can give you is to look at the cab. RRs had certain fesign features that they used (like PRR Belpaire fireboxes). With the NYC medium sized locos it was a tendency to put windows across the full width of the cab. If the engine only has one cab window towrds the rear it probably is something other than NYC.
