I am looking for information on what I believe to be called the vertipak Rail car I need either pictures of it or an HO scale Model of it. only one company I have talked to so far has made it but that was is 1995 and they made only 250 of them out of brass and they retailed for aroung 350.00 since I am a modeler on a budget I want to get Picture of it and make one of my own if anyone can help I would really appreciate it.
Is this the freight car General Motors used to ship Vegas in ?
Polizi,
Is the “Vertipak” the auto carrier that has the drop-down car sides, that a vehicle drives up on, gets strapped down, then the whole side of the car folds up and closes, so the vehicles are actually transported in a vertical position???
Whew!!! Longest sentence I’ve ever written!
Edit: Look at this site address, copy and paste, then wait as it’s an archived page and it will redirect to the photo…

I believe MR or RMC had plans for those cars back in the 60’s or early 70’s.
I saw numerous Vertapack cars converted to storage sheds in various SP/SSW yards.
