Looking for MRC replacement aftermarket part

I am in the process of converting to the MRC DCC system. Have it up and running well, however I don’t like the stiff cable that connects the walkaround cab/controller. With my previous DC system, I had a 25’ Telephone coiled cord that worked very well. I’ve contacted MRC and the Rep stated that they do not make a coiled cord, BUT a firm in Florida makes a replacement aftermarket coil cord. He didn’t know the companies name and I haven’t been able to locate any information. Does anyone know? Thanks

Any network patch cord should work but you don’t usually find them coiled. Try a computer supplier like Simmons.

Thanks Tildon – I’ll look into it. I’m using the 10’ cord to my handhelds and because it is so stiff, I’ve caught my foot in it a couple of times. I’m using the 7’ cord to advance the extension boxes, this way I’ll have more movement. When I start operating sessions, I’m sure it will become a problem.
