The video is not worth the time in my view. This is the first photo I have seen of the cab car for the Midwest fleet.

While the video is overly long and somewhat repetitive, it gives a lot of information. These will be on Hiawatha service.

I don’t understand the choice to have the ditch lights so high up (almost headlight level).

Also not using leds for markers? That actually may make sense in snowy climates.

and I’m guessing those aren’t led beacons on the roof)?

I don’t know about any of that stuff. I suspect it was Amtrak that issued the specs.

However, someone on FB complaining was complaining about the dots being outside the lines along the windows at the front of the cab (paint scheme)?..heh-heh. I don’t why the dots would bother anyone.
