Lots of SD70MACs, coal power past their prime. In fact the BNSF donated the 1st one built to IRM last week.
And look at how the Imron has held up nearly 35 years later!

Hopefully they salvaged or removed the Recaro Locomotive Cab seats. 
Well, Recaro DOES have a special refurbishment division for their locomotive seats…

It seems like yesterday when we got excited to see the first BN SD70MACs come through on coal trains.
Gosh, that was around 30 years ago.

I was at GM World HQ right before that order went through. I remember it as the order that saved EMD for a little while longer. Prior to that order GM was looking to dump EMD. After that order, GM decided to keep EMD a while longer.
