LPG Cars

I model BNSF in the midwest. I was wondering if the LPG cars that Athearn will be releasing will fit in this area. I might model part of a refinery and may incorporate these cars in. Most of the photos I have found show these types of cars on the east coast.

They will work anywhere. I work in OR and we get large blocks of them going to/from Canada.

I don’t recall ever seeing LPG cars in any dark colors. Anyway, you could also see these cars in smaller facilities where LP was transferred to storage tanks for further distribution to wholesale sellers.

The vast majority of LPG tankcars I have seen are black.
