I just heard of this. This is a new type of camera that does not need to be focused. You click on whatever you want to be in focus after the fact on your computer. Has anyone ever used one of these to photograph trains? If you have, can you post the results? Also, how well did the camera do in low light or panning situations?
Thanks,
George
At the moment, they’re really just a novelty. The output just isn’t all that detailed. It’s neat to play with one or two shots, but I really wouldn’t think of them as serious photographic tools yet. DPReview just published their review of the camera. While not train related, you can get an idea of what the camera is about and what its shortcomings are.
