Just watched an episode of Maine Cabin Masters (TV Show). The Cabin Masters renovated a ‘camp’ owned by the daughter of Jim Hediger, longtime editor of MODEL RAILROADER Magazine . They built a model railroad spice rack in the kitchen called “J H RAILWAYS”. The train comes out of a tunnel on “spice mountain” to deliver the spices. Pretty cool.
I watched it, too! (I watch it every week).
It was pretty neat seeing the family of the editor and the pictures of her as a child in Wisconsin. I thought it was interesting that the builder’s son and his friend had never seen or played with a train before. I wonder if it planted a thought that may come back someday for them to build their own layout.
Season and episode?
Season 12, Episode 7, Campify This House!
I think I caught a glimpse of that episode as I was channel surfing. If it was the episode I saw the locomotive was in BNSF paint but had a piece of black tape covering up the BNSF. I thought that was odd.
If that’s the case it’s probably due to copyright laws, like when tire companies or auto repair companies run tv ads showing vehicles with the front grill logo removed. They would have to pay to show logo, so they just remove them.
