Maker Of A Bell, Horn & Whistle Sound Unit?

Hi, All,

I would like to know if there’s a sound unit on the market which reproduces sounds of a bell, horn and whistle of American types of diesel and steam locomotive’s audible warning devices for model trains?

Thank You.

Ralph

Dallee makes a basic AC sound board that can be mounted in a car/loco or mounted external and them the input leads attached to a track lockon:

Ralph, if you want a low cost all-round system to have sound, check out the Model Rectifier Corp.

I have the discontinued Sound Station 312. This new one I’ve linked is the updated replacement and appears to have many enchanced and improved features.

The nice thing about these MRC products is that for one price you get sounds for anything and everything. No, Lionel Railsounds it’s not, but for the money, it’s a pretty good value. No rewiring of locos… just plug in the MRC unit, place the speakers and that’s it.

Another discontinued MRC Sound Station on sale:

I don’t know any that do all 3 sounds from one board I do know they do Horn and bell or Whistle and Bell but all three there maybe but I don’t think so yet anyway . It wouldn’t be a bad idea for like in a boxcar or a building .

Thanks, To All Of You,

I have the favorite standard Lionel whistling and diesel horn freight sheds, but I want also a bell.

It would be nice to have three, or more sounds from a portable small unit, to place elsewhere on a layout, besides the Lionel pieces, for the locomotives which don’t have audible sounding devices, as well, as other related sounds.

Thanks,

Ralph
