I have a city scene thats been looking pretty empty for a long time, And I think I want to put in a backdrop with pictures of buildings before I try to fill it with real structures. I know a few companys sell them, But has anyone tried to make their own with a computer? I was hoping to find a panorama with some old-ish looking buildings that I could Photoshop, but its been difficult because I’m modelling a British city circa 1945. Can anyone help?
I just printed one 25 feet long and 42 inches high. What you will find is no matter how high the resolution of your photo it will be small on large paper. The other problem you will run into is when you get high enough resolution (by stitching the photos together) you will run into the 30,000 pixel limit in Photoshop (for printing) My original was 60,000 pixels wide and I had to lower the resolution in order for it to print. There are ways and software to rip it and print highter resolution but that is as far as i have gotten
