Man killed after running in front of train naked **##### Web Posted: 04/06/2007 10:09 AM CDT****KENS 5 Eyewitness News**A naked 24-year-old man was killed Friday after he ran in front of a freight train near downtown.
According to police, Brian Benavides stripped his clothes off around 1 a.m. and ran onto train tracks at 10th and Austin streets.
The conductor saw him and tried to stop the train, but it was too late.
Police are trying to determine if this was an accident or if Benavides was trying to commit suicide.
“Mr. Spock, any life readings down there?”
“No intelligent life can be detected on the surface of this planet, captain.”
“Very well, then.”
Sounds like a case of drunk streaking to me.

I used to have dreams of this happening … I think it was last nite … perhaps I need a vacation ??

But after contemplating this, I wonder what the reaction to this story would have been had it been a naked 24-year-old female???
Being this happened in Hazard County, they have Roscoe P. Coaltrain on the case. Roscoe could not find a drivers license on the guy, so things may take a while…

I wonder if sheriff Bufort P. Justice did a “full search” to look for the ID.
Or we managed to get sufficient blood from the splash and gore to get a BAC?
Hose off the train and tracks and move on.
