I just wanted to openly thank Ed for his time and kind consideration of some naive questions I sent him via e-mail last week.

I – and I’m sure most of the others that check in regularly – sure appreciate the view from the professional side.

Methinks you misunderstand. I have never considered anything that Ed
has put on this forum a ‘joke’,unless he has made a ‘funny’ remark.
I’m referring to private ones.

I have enjoyed many posts from Ed - both serious and humorous. His patience is appreciated, especially from us that don’t know much about railroads.
