Very Nice EJ

Impressive, most impressive!

Very good modeling and had great focus!

Yes very nice indeed. You can almost taste the grit. The subdued color palette has a lot to do with that I think.

Ah yes, Michigan Alkalai and later Wyandotte Chemicals and lastly BASF Wyandotte in Wyandotte Michigan where I worked as an engineer and as a young man. The kilns there were as tall as a grain elevators and similar to blast furnaces with a larry car that ran on a track on top. Probably 80 years old in the early 70’s when I worked there it was the scariest ride of your life. 200’ in the air and tilting from side to side due to track misalingment. One day the power went off and with it all control of the car. We drifted down to the river end of the kilns at full speed and slammed into the bumper praying that it wasn’t rotten and we were going for a 200’ free fall into the river. I still don’t know why it held. By the way BASF worldwide is the letters for Badische Anilen und Soda Fabrique except in Wyandotee where we said it stood for the Big A** Soda Factory. Alas it is all gone for many years now.

what kind of products are produced and what kind of rail traffic is generated?
