As of 12:31 AM on March 24, 2025, The MBTA’s Middleboro/Lakeville Line is No More! It is to be replaced by the Fall River/New Bedford Line

As understand it, the train was extended to New Bedford and Fall River, thus the same line with a simple name change. Can’t wait to ride on it to enjoy the view and the final destinations.
Also, the same line to Cape Cod and Hyannis as a final destination during the summer months. Heard the summer train was a success!

It is! Shame it’s only weekends. I think they’d be able to run it all the time, but I could be Mistaken, Also I know of some good places in New Bedford and Fall River, as well as MC and CSX Times
