Wow this looks like a railroad interchange South of the (East of) the Oconomowoc Depot between the Milwaukee Road and the TMER&L Co. Never knew this existed or the fact that the TMER&L Co. Depot is still standing and preserved as a private building in Oconomowoc. The power substation I believe is still there as a brick building. Check out the old map track layout. You could catch interurbans in Oconomowoc, transfer over to the Milwaukee Street running North Shore Line and be on Chicago’s EL or Loop back when both systems were up and running. Just an incredible reach for all electric train service that no longer exists today.
