I attended the 39th annual Milwaukee Trainfest this year after a 20 year hiatus. It was overwhelming. Model Railroading is certainly not dead. There were so many operating layouts there in all scales and plenty of activities for children as well. I was also presently surprised when I ran into Don Heimburger editor and publisher of “S Gaugian”. I purchased my first S scale Lionel switcher from him that day along with several S scale diecast vehicles. I’ve included those in the pictures shown below…
