Different layout. That was the HO scale Canada Central, in Montreal, which was told it had leave its premises in 2011. This the O scale Model Railroad Club of Toronto, which released the news of the loss of its space Oct. 30.

That is one of my first pieces of advise to anyone wanting to start a club. If it is going to be a permanent layout (not modulars), do not rent or lease. Buy the space so it cannot be “lost”. I’ve been a member of, associated with, or been around 5 different layouts that had to be dismantled for this same reason.
