presents:

The Model Railroad Exhibit

Do you remember those trains we received at Christmas?

Do you remember the toy catalogs at Hardware Stores, Sears, Penny’s and Montgomery Ward’s featuring Lionel, Marx and American Flyer?

Well, the exhibit at the Madison County History Center at 11th and Meridian in downtown Anderson IN will open today November 28th.

That sounds like a fascinating exhibition. It´s just a little too far far me to come and see it [:'(]

I can undestand that.

We had 26 visitors to the exhibit the first weekend. That’s not bad at all!

Don’t know if this is the same layout as in 2011, but it is a pretty neat looking layout.

26 visitors over a weekend doesn’t seem like very many to me. That’s too bad.

Probably another sign of the times regarding model railroading.

Try Holiday weekend instead…Seems folks rather spend time in front of the TV,at the computer or spend hours with a video game controller in hand instead of having a refreshing family outing.

No, the video is of the Library and not our layouts. 26 is very good considering that we can not get any advertising in the local paper at all.

There seems to be some newspapers that isn’t all that interested in doing a public interest story these days.

Not enough mayhem perhaps?

“Not enough mayhem perhaps?”

Hmmm? Good thought!
