Model railroad photography question

A while ago in MR (probably a year or two ago), there was an article about model railroad photography with a focus (no pun intended) on depth of field. The photographs in the article featured a CSX GP on a layout that i think was set in Florida. The article listed a couple of software programs and a website that allowed you to merge several photos that have different focal points to create an image with an infinite depth of field. I borrowed the magazine from the local library, but did not copy dow the websites and the library no longer has that particular issue. Does anyone recall what programs/websites the article referenced (i vaguely remember that one website dealt with insect photography, but that’s about it)?

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks,

Peter.
