Hope I got the page right but the pics of the layout are great.

Does anyone know if the yard office/tower/2-storey structure on that page is available anywhere or something similar or was this scratch-built?

Are you thinking of the April issue by chance? There is a yard tower on page 64 in the April issue, but not the March issue.

If you read the last paragraph on page 63, the owner states that few of the buildings are stock kits. Many were kitbashed or scratchbuilt using cast-resin components.

Hi Dave,

I wasn’t able to reach John Grosner by e-mail to verify this, but I’m pretty sure that tower on page 64 (in the April MR) is from a kit offered by The N Scale Architect. This firm’s Web site at www.thenarch.com shows an N scale kit for the same New Haven interlocking tower. I believe it was made in HO scale as well, and New Haven modeler David Popp (our managing editor) agrees. Since the HO kit isn’t shown on the Web site it’s probably no longer available from the manufacturer.

We’re glad you enjoyed seeing John’s layout.
