I want to model a vineyard on my N gauge layout. I have contsructed the arbors out of some leftover parts from kits. What would be the best way to model, in N gauge, the vines and grape clusters from these arbors?

Jeff,
Not into N guage, but I’d say it would have to be very thin. Perhaps the metal from inside a twist tie off a bread bag because you would have to have something plyable, yet holds shape to make the vines.

Jeff, a vineyard is a great idea for a layout and there is a prototype to follow. East of Erie, PA the CSX and NS both run fast and frequent through the grape country of New York towards Buffalo. Welch’s uses many of the grapes for juice and there are many wineries in the area.
From my observations one rarely sees the grapes because the blend in with the leaves the majority of the growing season. Normally you see big crates loaded with grapes during the harvest heading for Welches on flat bed trucks.
